Test-ride the Vision in Regensdorf, or become a Founding Rider.

Ride into the future

Stop looking down. Speed and navigation and more sit on the road ahead of you, anchored to your motorcycle , not to your head. Turn to check a mirror or look into a curve and the display steps out of your way.

The experience

Live footage from recorded through the lens with the Aegis Rider Vision motorcycle helmet.

Vehicle-anchored 2D HUD

Lock your HUD in position. It stays anchored to your bike, always exactly where you expect it. Show only the information you want — your ride, your rules.

World-anchored 3D navigation

3D navigation arrows appear at the actual junction. The helmet draws the navigation display.

Engineered for the road

Helmet, AR display, action camera, rear camera, speakers and microphone, controls and battery: one system, one charging cable, one power button.

The display

Your display. Your layout.

Choose what you see: speed, speed limit, time, navigation, mini-map, media, caller. Set where it sits relative to the motorcycle, how big it is and how far ahead it appears.

  • Anchored to the motorcycle, typically three to four metres ahead, position adjustable in the app
  • Speed-limit ring with an optional over-limit alert
  • 3D arrows at the junction, mini-map in HUD or classic turn-by-turn if you prefer
  • Prefer the display to stay in view when you turn? Set it to Static Mode in the app
AR Optics

See-through, in stereo, at real depth.

A 75 g magnetic, see-through display with 1080p per eye: speed a few metres ahead, arrows at the junction. Powered by the helmet, without its own battery. Detaches in seconds.

  • Glasses: most frames fit, including progressive lenses. Bulky frames may touch; adjust the distance or use the 30-day return. Unsure? Send us a photo of your glasses.
  • Fit: three spacers and two screws adjust height and eye distance. Optimal performance regardless of how you wear your helmet.
  • Brightness: use the integrated sun visor in bright sunlight to have an optimal viewing experience in any condition.
Front camera

Your ride, captured as you saw it — with the data to back it up.

TELEMETRY OVERLAY IN PREVIEW · COMING TO FOUNDING RIDERS SHORTLY VIA SOFTWARE UPDATE

A 1080p action camera is built into the chin of the shell, 30 frames per second through a 135° field of view, close to your own peripheral vision. Start it from the app, ride, and pull the clips to your phone over WiFi afterwards. 128 GB of storage hold around 20 hours of footage. The companion app can then render a telemetry overlay onto your ride footage — speed, lean angle, g-forces, route and elevation profile, and more — and the overlaid video downloads straight to your phone.

Rear camera

The rear camera is built in. The blind-spot warning is coming.

In development · software update

Every Aegis Rider Vision ships with a rear-facing 1080p camera in the shell. The blind-spot warning that uses it is in development and arrives as a software update, first to Founding Riders, then to everyone.

Pro-Box and phone mount

Phone on the bars, or nothing on the bars.

Spatial anchoring needs one thing from the motorcycle: how it moves and where it is. Your phone can be that sensor, mounted rigidly with the included handlebar mount. Or the Pro-Box does it: a small module under the seat with a high-precision GNSS receiver and inertial sensors that replaces the phone on the bike side entirely. The phone stays in your pocket, positioning is more precise than a phone’s GPS, and the upcoming road-ahead features build on it.

  • Pro-Box, order with the helmet or add it later. One per bike you ride often, transferable with a new calibration ride
  • Your own rigid smartphone mount works too; a damped mount is fine. Don't place the phone in a tank bag when used for spatial anchoring
Audio and controls

Calls and music over Bluetooth. Sena Mesh, too.

Stereo speakers and a microphone are built in. Calls, music and navigation prompts come from your paired phone over Bluetooth 5.2, so a group call on WhatsApp works with any helmet your friends wear.

Sena Meshport Red: pair one with the helmet and Sena Mesh intercom functionality is enabled, so you can join Sena Mesh group rides directly from the helmet.

  • The helmet appears to your phone as a headset, so anything on your bike that controls the phone's media (volume, next track on many BMW, Harley and other infotainment systems) works. Nothing bike-specific controls the AR display.
  • Clear audio at touring speeds and fine for calls and navigation prompts; however not a hi-fi system.
  • Please note, Cardo or non-mesh Sena devices are currently not supported. We are working on a Universal Intercom solution that will be made available via a software update.

By the numbers
Weight
≈ 2 kg

About 2 kg including electronics, battery and AR Optics. Slightly lighter in smaller shells; 75 g less without AR Optics.

Battery
4–6 h

With the AR display active, longer without. Charge while riding over USB-C from the bike or a power bank for longer riding days. Full charge about 2 h.

Spatial tracking
6-DOF

Three axes of position, three of rotation. The motorcycle is the reference frame.

Display
1080p

Per eye, stereo, see-through. Content rendered at variable depth so it appears where it belongs.

Sizes
XS–3XL

53 to 66 cm head circumference, three shell sizes. Runs a touch tighter than a stock Nexx X.WST3: between sizes, take the larger.

Weather
IP65

Dust-tight and rain-proof. Ride in the rain with the visor closed; don't pressure-wash it.

Connectivity
BT 5.2

Bluetooth 5.2 for calls, music and notifications. WiFi to pull footage to the app and for updates.

Storage
128 GB

About 20 hours of ride footage. Videos stay on the helmet until you choose to transfer them.

Companion App

Your helmet, your control. Pair devices, register bikes, adjust your display, and navigate your next ride — all in one app.

Garage

One helmet. Every bike.

The Garage learns each motorcycle you ride. Add it once, calibrate once, then switch between bikes in the app — sport bike, cruiser, adventure. The helmet adjusts the AR to the machine you're on.

HUD personalization

Your data. Your layout.

Choose what appears in your line of sight — speed, navigation, calls, music, alerts. Pick the position; pick the depth. The HUD becomes whatever you need it to be on the ride you're about to take.

Route → ride

Plan it. Send it. Ride it.

Plan in Kurviger, Calimoto, MyRoute or BaseCamp, export the GPX as a track and import it. Download the map once and the route works offline. Garmin or TomTom units and CarPlay cannot feed the display: the helmet draws it.

Ride footage

Bring the ride home.

Pull footage from the helmet over WiFi. Watch it, save it, share it — your ride, exactly as you saw it, ready for the group chat and with telemetry coming soon.

Before you buy

The four questions riders ask us most.

Does it work with my glasses?

For most riders, yes. Our founder rides with glasses himself. Only very bulky temples get tight at the sides, and that is rare. Glasses off, helmet on, glasses on, AR Optics on. If it doesn't work for you, you have 30 days to send it back. Not sure? Send us a photo of your glasses.

Which size do I need?

Measure your head circumference 2.5 cm above the eyebrows and use the table in the shop. Our helmet fits a touch tighter than a stock Nexx X.WST3, so between two sizes take the larger. You can try a stock X.WST3 at any Nexx dealer to check your head shape. Wrong size? Free exchange within 30 days.

Does it work with my motorcycle?

Yes, with any motorcycle. Your bike needs no display, no Bluetooth and no connection to the helmet: the phone on the handlebar or the Pro-Box is the sensor. Riders use it on everything from a 2001 Ducati ST3 to a Goldwing. Several bikes? Calibrate each once and switch in the Garage.

Does my phone have to be on the handlebar?

Only for spatial anchoring. With the phone in your pocket the helmet runs in Static Mode: same display, fixed in your view, everything else works. For the anchored display, mount the phone rigidly with the included mount (it can be hidden) or fit the Pro-Box under the seat.

Press and partners · What our customers say
The safety gain while riding is tangible. With no need to look down any more, my attention belongs entirely to the road.
The difference compared to the competition is stunning.
After testing the system for just over 1,000 kilometres, I see a clear safety benefit in urban areas and on motorway stretches.
Before trying the system I was sceptical, as I had already tried some other similar devices. But after using the Aegis solution, my opinion has changed completely, and I think this will be the future. We can have so much information just in front of our eyes and at the same time we don't lose the concentration. Aegis is, so far, the most promising tech on the market.
Hélder Loureiro, CEO of Nexx, our manufacturing partner Nexx
The Aegis Rider helmet passed the real-world test, and I can wholeheartedly recommend buying it.
The riding experience with the Aegis Rider Vision is truly sensational. Great work!
Marcel Grimm
I ride with it all the time. If I no longer had the helmet, I would really miss it.
Jörg Kleinschmidt
The AR optics are simply fantastic. They show me all the information directly and safely in my field of view.
Mario Mandl
After 3,200 kilometres, one thing is clear: I do not want to go back. Simply brilliant!
Raimund Leykauf
The HUD is like the one in a car—really great. Something that makes riding easier.
Peter El Benna
Honestly, I would not want to ride without the Aegis Rider Vision anymore.
Patrice Cunier
Clear, unobtrusive and always easy to read. My eyes stay on the road. I am absolutely delighted.
Bernd Becker
I never look down at my display anymore. The helmet does exactly what it is supposed to.
Peter Berger
Navigation and speed in my field of view—that is a real benefit. Clear recommendation.
Marcus Buchner
The helmet is excellent. The comfort, shape and visor's flip-up mechanism are great.
